The APEX Readership Program is proud to introduce the next book, Women, Power, Politics, authored by Dr. Sylvia Bashevkin. Dr. Sylvia Bashevkin, an APEX Honour Society board member, is Professor of Political Science and Principal of University College, University of Toronto. In 2005, she received "Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award". Click the book cover for more detailed description about this book. Mon Nov 10, 2008Introducing APEX Readership Program

APEX Honour Society is pleased to present the APEX Readership Program. A program developed to facilitate quality reading and to cultivate English language skills for members whose English is their Second Language. As Sarah Margaret Fuller, an American Author and Philosopher proclaimed, "Today a reader; tomorrow a leader". Reading is a gateway to knowledge and essential to success. Reading inspires critical and creative thinking. Reading enables us to travel through space and time to talk to a philosopher, to meet a great thinker and to learn from the author. For each particular book, APEX will offer activities related to the theme of the book, which may include: discussion questions, essay competitions, seminars delivered by professional experts, interactive workshops hosted by APEX Honorary Members or on-line forum for members to exchange their opinions.

If you are interested in participating in this program, please email to events@apexsociety.ca.
