An APEX Honour Society chapter operates locally to serve the students in the university that it is chartered in. All chapters reflect and execute the APEX mission of promoting professionalism and fostering intellectual connectivity across the world. They also uphold the core values of excellence, integrity, leadership, respect, teamwork, innovation, and diversity in their practices. Chapters provide valuable services to students by delivering APEX exclusive programs to its members and allowing students to be involved in organizing and maintaining their respective chapters. Working with university faculty and APEX staff, students are given an opportunity to share their input in designing chapter activities, setting chapter goals, and meeting chapter guidelines. Chapter student executives particularly benefit by being able to experience APEX recommended skills, such as leadership, team work, communication, and management skills first hand as they directly carry out chapter objectives. For a university, having an APEX chapter is equal to a symbol of success and confidence in its academic body, as each chapter signifies the high standards that APEX is known to represent. Chartered universities can take pride in knowing that they have joined a world class organization that advocates academic and professional enlightenment. |
Did You Know? Want to join APEX at a school that does not have a chapter? You can start one! Students can help charter an APEX chapter at their own university by submitting a petition of interest for APEX to consider. If the university is eligible, APEX representatives can then speak to school officials about becoming a chapter. Contact APEX at info@apexsociety.ca for more information. |
